The official website of the previously announced Ryuuou no Oshigoto! (The Ryuo's Work is Never Done!) anime series has revealed additional staff members, theme song performers, and a new key visual (pictured). Produced by Project No.9, the anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2018.

‘Granblue Fantasy The Animation’ Gets New TV Anime

The Granblue Fantasy The Animation special event "Kikuushi Soukai" held on Sunday has announced that a new TV anime for the series is in production. More information will be announced later.

Granblue Fantasy The Animation is based on Cygames' smartphone game that started its service in 2013. It uses turn-based battles with characters of different classes gaining levels through experience and using various abilities. The first TV anime by A-1 Pictures aired in Spring 2017 for 13 episodes. The seventh and final Blu-ray volume will bundle an unaired episode titled "EXTRA2" on October 25.

Geno Studio Announces Three New Anime Projects

Geno Studio announced three new anime projects on their official website, along with a teaser PV that includes basic information for all three titles on the official Twitter. The three new projects are an anime adaptation of Kokkoku, the previously announced anime project of Golden Kamuy, and a new work directed by Takahiro Omori (Durarara!!).

Kokkoku
The staff and cast members have been revealed with a separate teaser PV for the Kokkoku anime adaptation. The key visual was revealed last week, and the one pictured is an updated version with its title revealed. The anime will broadcast on Mondays via Tokyo MX and BS11 at 12:30 a.m. in Winter 2018. Amazon Prime will also stream the anime.

Synopsis
Juri Yukawa lives with her NEET father and brother, her retired grandfather, her sister (a single mother) and her young nephew. One day, her nephew and brother are kidnapped for ransom. Having only 30 minutes to meet the demands of the kidnappers, Juri, who realizes there is not enough time to prepare the money, decides to head for their rescue by herself with a knife in hand when her grandfather uses a mysterious stone passed on in the Yukawa family to stop time.

In a world where everyone and everything is inert, Juri and her father and grandfather run to rescue the two. But at the kidnappers' hideout, they soon realize they are not the only ones who can move about in this still world… (Source: MU)

New Work by Takahiro Omori
Director Takahiro Omori (Durarara!!) has been planning this work for ten years. The story is about having a pure heart and trying to be considerate of each other when living in a world with no freedom.

Geno Studio was established when the studio took over Gyakusatsu Kikan, when Manglobe went bankrupt in the middle of production. Therefore, Gyakusatsu Kikan is considered the 0th work of the studio. The Blu-ray and DVD for the movie will be released on October 25.

English Dub Cast for ‘Chihayafuru’ Announced

American anime licensor Sentai Filmworks has announced English dub cast for Chihayafuru on Friday. Shannon Reed will direct the dub, with Joey Goubeaud and Brittany Deans serving as assistant director. Javier Lopez, Kyle Jones, and Joel McCray are penning the script. The first season will be released on a Blu-ray and DVD volume, as well as a premium box set on September 12.

TV Anime ‘Just Because!’ Announces Cast Members for Fall 2017

The official website of the upcoming TV anime Just Because! has announced the main voice cast members of the series. The original anime production created by writer Hajime Kamoshida (Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo) and artist Kiseki Himura (Getsuyoubi no Tawawa) will air on Tokyo MX, BS Fuji, AT-X, and other networks beginning October 2017.

A teaser visual (pictured) featuring series heroine Mio Natsume was also revealed earlier this month.

New Anime Project of ‘Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!’ Announced

A new anime project based on Natsume Akatsuki's Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! (KonoSuba) light novels was announced on Tuesday in a web radio broadcast on HiBiKi Radio Station.

Seiyuu Jun Fukushima (Kazuma Satou) and Rie Takahashi (Megumin), who hosted the 28th and final episode of Kono Subarashii Radio ni Shukufuku wo!, read a message from Kadokawa producer Rie Ogura announcing the new anime project at the end of the episode. Ogura's message does not specify the format and content of the new anime.

KonoSuba was first adapted into a television anime series in Winter 2016. A second season ended its broadcast this past March. An OVA episode was included in the 9th volume of the light novels, and a second OVA was included in the 12th volume, which went on sale on Monday.

Digital Idol Group 22/7 Announces Debut Single and Anime Adaptation

Digital idol group 22/7 (Nanabun no Nijuuni), created by AKB48 and Nogizaka46 producer Yasushi Akimoto, announced their debut CD single and an anime adaptation at a live performance event on Saturday.

Akimoto began auditions for the group in October 2016, and eleven members were chosen from 10,325 applicants in December. Eight of the members have been assigned anime characters to voice, while three members have not been assigned. A manga series of these characters, titled Ano Hi no Kanojo-tachi, has been published since the April 2017 issue of Newtype magazine.

The debut single of 22/7, titled "Boku wa Sonzai Shiteinakatta," will go on sale on September 20, 2017. In addition to the title song, it will also include the song "Chikatetsu Teikou Shugi," a third untitled song, and their instrumental versions.

Additional Cast Members for Mahoutsukai no Yome TV anime have been announced via a Nico Live for the anime series on Saturday. The anime will be aired on Saturdays (effectively Sunday midnights) starting October 8 on Tokyo MX and MBS, followed by AT-X, TV Aichi, TV Saitama, Chiba TV, Hokkaido Housou, and BS11. The official website has also revamped to display information to TV series instead of OVA series.
